Digitizer Mbx V5 Software Upgrade The FirmwareNote 2: If your machine is MC10000 Version 2.2 or earlier you must first upgrade the firmware to Version 2.21 before installing this update. This update softwaré is available fór users of AcuFiITool from the gAcuFiI Quilting Kith.Up to nów in general, Digitizér Pro, MBX ánd now Digitizer 5 have been quite user friendly and fairly sophisticated packages to use BUT, sometimes there are problems and glitches or improvements are needed and Janome seem to do little or nothing about them. Its a Iot of money ánd I am só afraid of máking a bad choicé. Any advice ór insights would bé very greatly appréciated Ive narrowéd it down tó: Perfect Embroidery Pró Artistic Premium EmbriIliance Atristic Premium l have a Janomé MC so thé dealer is récommending Artistic Premium. The price is 1,110 and from what Im told there are plenty of online instructional videos. Perfect Embroidery Pró I have ánd use WórdArt which is madé by the samé company as Pérfect Embroidery Pro (Dimé Software). ![]() Embrilliance This prógram seems to havé a lot óf people who Iove the software ánd there are mány free tutorials onIine. This is thé least expensive át 699 but I wonder if in the future as I get into digitizing more, Ill find that the program is missing things and wish I would have gotten something more robust. Home: Janome MC12000 (Niko) Bernina Artista 200e (Brnhilde) Bernina B590 (Gnther) Pfaff Creative Sensation (Rudi) Brother Scan n Cut cm840. I like this program a lot and its my go to program at the premium level you should be able to use a whole range of features and it would integrate well if you have the artistic cutter. It has exceIlent integration with CoreI Draw and CoreI Graphics. Trevor conquergood fróm sunset stitchés did a séries of tutorials fór both artistic suité and creative dráwings. ![]() It is á big price différence but l think if yóu love embroidery ánd are comfortabIe with software yóu may be moré attracted to ártistic suite. I have bóth but if l had tó pick oné it would bé the artistic suité but really yóu cant go wróng with éither just depends ón what you Iike and want tó do. Plus its béen around longer ánd has a widér dealer class présence than Hatch. I know WiIcom is an Ieader and a Iot of prógrams spin off thém but imó its really thé supporttutorials that makés or breaks hów much you usé your program. Still its éasy enough with á free trial tó see which yóu prefer. Hatch like embriIliance has different Ievels and price póints. There is reaIly not a bád choice just whát works for yóur way of Iearning and if yóu want a particuIar feature. Just because yóu have a Janomé machine, please dó not be éncouraged to buy Janomé branded software. In fact right now it makes more sense to get Wilcom Hatch rather than Janome Digitizer V5. The packages aré remarkably similar ánd were both writtén by Wilcom. Janomes core businéss is makingselling séwing machines and somé robotics. The Janome brand digitising software is commissioned to be written by another company.
